Wisconsin Dells is a little more than two hours from Milwaukee and less than a four-hour drive from the Twin Cities and is a favorite vacation spot for Minnesotans and Wisconsinites alike.
While there is lots to do there for families with children, there are also lots of top-notch golf courses. The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, in conjunction with Hacker's Guide in Minneapolis, ranks the public courses in the Wisconsin Dells area. The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal is a sister publication of The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee.
The list is part of a series that highlights the best golf courses in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A number of Wisconsin courses are featured, including St. Croix National Golf Course in Somerset and Hudson Golf Club in Hudson.
The list shows how they rank after taking into account 60 different factors, including value, hospitality and the playability of the courses. A score of 1,000 is perfect.
